How edible ginger can help reduce your risk of dementia

It has a unique, unique flavor that helps to lower the risk of developing dementia, according to a study published Monday in the journal Neurology.

The study, which examined data from more than 200,000 people who have had a stroke, found that eating edible ginger was associated with an almost 60 percent lower risk of getting dementia than those who did not eat it.

The risk was even lower when it came to those with mild dementia or no dementia at all.

The findings are a “major breakthrough” in understanding how to prevent dementia, said Dr. William G. Bock, the study’s lead author and professor of neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York City.

“We have known for decades that ginger is beneficial to the brain,” he told CBS News.

“This study shows that edible ginger has significant therapeutic value.”

The study included more than 40,000 participants from the general population, including people with stroke, dementia and mild cognitive impairment.

The researchers also measured participants’ blood glucose levels and brain activity and assessed their cognitive function.

They found that the average participants’ average cognitive decline was 10 percent lower when they ate ginger, compared with those who didn’t.

For mild cognitive decline, the difference was even more pronounced, with a decline of 18 percent.

“The effects of ginger were greater than the effects of caffeine or alcohol, and more significant than those of other nutrients,” Dr. Bocks said.

“It’s a wonder that the ginger flavor, which is really very complex, is not as potent as other nutrients.”

The researchers concluded that the edible ginger had a synergistic effect in improving cognitive function and blood sugar levels.

They say this could potentially be the first study to show a benefit of ginger in preventing dementia.

“We know that ginger has some anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties,” Drs.

Paul Fagan and William J. Eiseman, the lead authors of the study, said in a statement.

“Our study indicates that ginger can protect the brain against cognitive decline.”

The benefits of ginger for the brain are not as dramatic as the effects in people with mild cognitive impairments, but the study found the benefits were similar.

“These results indicate that ginger may have beneficial effects in reducing cognitive decline,” Dr Bock said.

“It is important that we continue to investigate the possible clinical benefits of edible ginger.”

In addition to its benefits for cognition, ginger has been linked to a number of other health benefits, including its antioxidant properties, its anti-oxidant properties, and its antihypertensive properties.
